Weekend Winter Storm Watch

 

Good evening northland, hope you had a great Thursday

Winter Storm Watch goes into effect from 6pm Saturday to 3am Monday for the KC metro, however exact ice and snow amounts remain uncertain.

- sleet/freezing rain could start late Saturday night for aeas south of I-70 before transitioning to snow during the late morning/early afternoon on Sunday

- over a foot of snow is possible for areas north of I-70 and along highway 36 as well.

- there remains much high uncertainty with the timing, and the location of the storm track of this winter storm. But i should begin to narrow that down a bit as we get into Friday and saturday!!!
