Late-Night Disturbance at Local Residence Raises Safety Concerns
Liberty, MO – August 14, 2025 – A Nashua family reported a frightening late-night incident at their home on Wednesday, August 13, when two teenagers were caught on security cameras hitting the front door of their residence at approximately 11:23 p.m.
According to the homeowner, his wife was awakened by the disturbance, leaving her frightened and the couple struggling to return to sleep before their early workday. “It was very hard to get to sleep after that incident,” the homeowner said in a social media post.
The surveillance footage, shared publicly, shows two young individuals standing on the front porch, striking the door before quickly running away. The family is asking neighbors for assistance in identifying the teenagers.
No property damage or injuries were reported, but the incident has sparked concerns about safety in the neighborhood. Police have not confirmed whether an investigation has been opened, though community members are urged to remain vigilant.
